Day 1; Arrival, at Entebbe International Airport
Upon reaching Entebbe International Airport you’ll be warmly welcomed by your tour guide who will then escort you to your hotel in Kampala. Take some time to relax and prepare for the adventures that lie ahead.
Day 2; tour to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Following a breakfast you’ll begin on a tour towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is renowned for being the habitat of the endangered mountain gorillas. Along the way cherish opportunities to capture the beauty of Ugandas countryside and marvel at the landscapes of the Kigezi highlands often referred to as the “Switzerland of Africa.”
Day 3; Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Prepare yourself for a gorilla trekking experience. After receiving instructions from the staff of Uganda Wildlife Authority, venture into the enchanting forest in search of your designated gorilla group. Once you locate these creatures savor a hour capturing their splendor through your lens while being expertly guided by experienced trackers.
Day 4; tour to Lake Bunyonyi
After enjoying a breakfast begin on a captivating tour, towards Lake Bunyonyi – Africas deepest lake celebrated for its picturesque allure and abundance of charming islands.
Spend the afternoon exploring Lake Bunyonyi, where you have activities to choose from, like taking a boat ride capturing photos or observing the diverse bird species.
Day 5; Lake Bunyonyi
You can opt for a guided canoe adventure visit communities on the islands or simply relax and soak in the atmosphere. Don’t miss out on capturing the birdlife that calls this lake their home.
Day 6; Queen Elizabeth National Park
Head to Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast. This park is renowned for its wildlife and bird species. In the afternoon begin on a thrilling game drive where you might spot elephants, lions, buffaloes and leopards. Make sure to capture the savannah landscapes during sunset.
Day 7; Queen Elizabeth National Park
Starts with an early morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. After lunch experience a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel which’s famous for its high concentration of hippopotamus in Africa and numerous Nile crocodiles. In the evening hours commence your tour back to Entebbe. Arrive at Entebbe International Airport in time, for your departure flight. This concludes your 7 day photo safari, in Uganda.
