9 Days Kenya Photo Safari Tour

Join us for a 9-day African photo safari in Kenya. Start in Nairobi, then visit the National parks full of wildlife animals and birds. You’ll see Amboseli National Park, Tsavo West National Park, Lake Nakuru National Park, and Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Take great photos of big animals, colorful birds, and friendly people. This trip is perfect for people who love taking pictures, being in nature, and having exciting adventures.

Day 1; Arriving in Nairobi

Your photography safari spanning 9 days commences, at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. Upon your arrival you will be warmly greeted by a guide who will transfer you to your hotel within the city. If you arrive with time you may consider begining on a city tour to capture the essence of Nairobis landscape and vibrant atmosphere. Some noteworthy sites include the Nairobi Railway Museum, Nairobi National Park and the bustling city markets. After your

tour take some time to relax and unwind at the hotel during an evening.

Day 2; Amboseli National Park

Following a breakfast it’s time to depart for Amboseli National Park. This renowned park is celebrated for its herds of elephants. Offers an awe inspiring view of Mount Kilimanjaro as its backdrop—an ideal start for your captivating photo safari. Upon arrival at the park settle into your lodge before begining on an exciting afternoon game drive. Witnessing elephants grazing against the backdrop of Africas peak is truly a dream come true for any photographer.

Day 3; Amboseli National Park

Prepare yourself for a day filled with wildlife and birdlife photography opportunities as you explore Amboseli National Park further. Make sure to seize the morning and late afternoon game drives since these periods are when animals are active and present ideal moments, for capturing remarkable shots. The day will be filled with moments, including a lunch and an opportunity to rest or work on editing photos. Don’t forget to capture the sunrise and sunset, over Mount Kilimanjaro. The beautiful golden light during these times creates conditions for capturing photographs.

Day 4; Tsavo West National Park

After having breakfast you’ll tour to Tsavo West National Park, which is known for its diverse landscape teeming with wildlife and remarkable geographical features. Once you’ve checked into your lodge take part in an evening game drive. Tsavo West is home to a range of wildlife such as lions, leopards, hippos and a vibrant array of bird species—making it an ideal place for capturing wildlife through your lens.

Day 5; A Day Exploring Tsavo West National Park

You’ll have the day at your disposal to explore Tsavo West. Morning and afternoon game drives will allow you to discover the parks ecosystems, from swamps to peaks. Make sure not to miss visiting the Mzima Springs—an oasis of greenery in the semi desert—where you can photograph hippos and crocodiles from an observatory.

Day 6; touring to Lake Nakuru National Park

Today you’ll make your way towards Lake Nakuru National Park—a destination famous, for its shores adorned with thousands of vibrant pink flamingos. Lake Nakuru offers an experience with its breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife. One of its highlights is the presence of endangered Rothschild giraffes and black and white rhinos. During an afternoon game drive you’ll have plenty of opportunities to capture the birdlife and other fascinating animals that inhabit the area.

Days 7 and 8; Transfer you to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

This reserve is famous, for its migration and high concentration of predators. Over these two days you’ll have the chance to photograph lions, speedy cheetahs, elusive leopards, magnificent elephants and many more during morning and afternoon game drives. Additionally you can immerse yourself in culture by visiting a village to capture vibrant images that showcase their traditions.

Day: 9 End Of Kenya Safari

On day 9 your departure day begins with one last sunrise game drive in the Maasai Mara followed by a breakfast at your lodge. Afterward we’ll head back to Nairobi. If time permits you might consider visiting the Giraffe Centre or Kazuri Beads womens cooperative for some last minute photo opportunities. Finally we will transfer you to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport where you bid farewell to your guide and this wonderful country that has been your home, for the nine days.
