Day 1; Arrival, in Kigali, Rwanda
Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport you’ll receive a welcome from your guide. Be transferred to your hotel in Kigali. Take some time to relax and get used to the surroundings. If you have time you can explore the city. Visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial to learn about Rwandas history.
Day 2; Akagera National Park. Wildlife Photography on the Savannah
After enjoying breakfast we’ll head towards Akagera National Park, which is situated in Rwanda. This expansive park is well known for its wildlife and stunning landscapes. Keep your camera handy as we enter the park and capture scenes of savannahs adorned with acacia trees. In the afternoon we’ll begin on a game drive where you can photograph animals such as elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes and various antelope species. Don’t miss out on capturing the breathtaking beauty of hills and vast plains while searching for wildlife including the Big Five.
Day 3; Akagera National Park. Bird Photography during a Boat Safari
We’ll begin our day with an exciting boat safari on Lake Ihema – an opportunity for capturing bird images. The lake is home, to bird species including fish eagles, herons and kingfishers. Get ready to photograph these creatures in their habitat while enjoying this unique experience.
