Day 1; Arrival and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
When you arrive at Entebbe International Airport your safari guide will be there to greet you warmly. After the welcome you’ll take a flight to Kihihi airstrip, which is located near the renowned Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This park holds the distinction of being a UNESCO World Heritage site. Is home to than half of the worlds mountain gorillas.
Once you land at Kihihi airstrip you’ll be smoothly transferred to your accommodation for this tour; Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp. Tucked away within the rainforest this luxurious camp not serves as an ideal base for gorilla trekking but also provides an intimate and immersive experience with nature. To mark the beginning of your honeymoon adventure indulge in a candlelit dinner.
Day 2; Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi
Rise early. Enjoy a breakfast before begining on an exciting gorilla trekking experience. Accompanied by a guide traverse through the rainforest as you come face to face with a family of majestic mountain gorillas. Witnessing these giants in their habitat is truly a once, in a lifetime encounter.
After your trek you can head back, to the Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp. Enjoy an afternoon. Take some time for a couples massage at the camps spa or simply unwind on the deck of your tent taking in the views of the forest canopy. In the evening indulge in a dinner made with local ingredients.
Day 3; Departure
Say goodbye to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park after breakfast.
