Day 1; Arrival, in Nairobi
When you arrive at Nairobis Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, our representative will warmly welcome you. They will assist you with immigration procedures. Take you to your hotel. Take some time to relax and get used to the city.
Day 2; Nairobi to Maasai Mara
In the morning meet your guide. Leave Nairobi for Maasai Mara National Reserve, located in the southwest of Kenya. Enjoy a drive through the Great Rift Valley, where you can stop and capture photos of the breathtaking landscapes. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch.
Afterward begin on an afternoon game drive in Maasai Mara renowned for its wildlife and its role in the Great Migration. Marvel at the plains adorned with wildebeests, zebras and other herbivores as they cross the Mara River in search of grazing areas. Keep an eye out for predators like lions, cheetahs and hyenas that follow this migration pattern. Return to your accommodation, for dinner. Spend the night.
Day 3 to 5; Maasai Mara Migration Safari
Spend the three days exploring Maasai Mara National Reserve during the peak of the Great Migration. Wake up early each morning to witness animals at their state.
Start your day with a breakfast before begining on game drives to spot the migrating herds and the predators that trail behind them.
Your knowledgeable safari guide will lead you to spots, along the Mara River, where you can witness the awe inspiring river crossings. Observe as thousands of wildebeests and zebras bravely navigate through the currents braving lurking crocodiles. Take photographs. Be amazed by the sheer magnificence of this natural phenomenon. Apart from the migration Maasai Mara is home to an array of wildlife. Keep an eye out for prides of lions lounging under acacia trees leopards resting on tree branches and elephants enjoying a bath in watering holes. Bird enthusiasts will also have plenty of opportunities to spot species with over 450 recorded bird species in the reserve.
When it gets hot during midday head back to your lodge or camp for a lunch and some relaxation. Take a dip in the pool to cool off indulge in soothing spa treatments or simply bask in the peacefulness of the wilderness. In the afternoon set off on game drives to explore parts of the reserve and increase your chances of witnessing remarkable interactions, among wildlife. As dusk settles over the savannah savor drinks while marveling at how colors transform across the sky. Immerse yourself in the sounds of the bush as the night comes alive with fascinating nocturnal creatures. After an exciting day of wildlife encounters gather around a campfire at your accommodation, for a dinner and share stories and cherished memories from your adventures.
Day 6; tour from Maasai Mara to Nairobi
After enjoying a breakfast bid farewell to the captivating Maasai Mara as you make your way back, to Nairobi. You will arrive in Nairobi during the afternoon, where you can transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your tour or choose to extend your stay and explore more of Kenyas captivating attractions.
Please keep in mind that the itinerary may be adjusted based on the movements of the Great Migration. The migrations exact timing and location can vary so your experienced safari guide will make changes to ensure you have chances of witnessing this awe inspiring natural phenomenon.
