8 Days Walking Safari Uganda

Day 1; Arriving in Entebbe

When you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, in Uganda our representative will warmly welcome you. Assist with immigration procedures. They will then take you to your hotel in either Entebbe or Kampala. Take some time to relax and get accustomed to the environment.

Day 2; tour to Kibale National Park

After enjoying breakfast begin on a drive towards Kibale National Park located in Uganda. This park is renowned for its population of primates. Along the way soak in the beauty of the landscapes and rural villages that dot the route.

Upon reaching the park check into your lodge or camp. Savor a lunch. In the afternoon partake in a guided nature walk through the parks forests with a guide by your side. This immersive experience allows you to spot bird species, butterflies and smaller mammals while learning about conserving the parks biodiversity and understanding its ecosystem.

Day 3; Chimpanzee Tracking Adventure at Kibale National Park

Rise and enjoy a breakfast before begining on an exciting chimpanzee tracking adventure. Join your guide as they lead you into the forest in search of these incredible primates.

Venture through the forest while being attentive, to any sounds or signs indicating chimpanzees. Once you spot a group of chimpanzees spend a hour observing them in their habitat.
Discover the behaviors, social structure and conservation challenges surrounding these creatures.

Once you’ve completed the chimpanzee trek take some time to relax and reflect on the experience of being, in the presence of intelligent primates at your lodge or camp.

Day 4; tour to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After a breakfast make your way to Queen Elizabeth National Park, renowned for its breathtaking landscapes. Delight in a game drive as you travel towards your accommodation, where you may spot elephants, graceful buffalos, elegant antelopes and an array of bird species.

Upon reaching the park settle into your chosen lodging. Enjoy a lunch. In the afternoon begin on an enlightening walking safari through designated areas of the park. Accompanied by a ranger guide explore the savannah grasslands, riverbanks and wetlands while observing wildlife from a perspective. Gain insights into animal behavior as you walk amidst their habitat.

Day 5; Game Drive and Boat Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start your day early with an exciting morning game drive within Queen Elizabeth National Park. Explore regions of this park while spotting diverse wildlife such, as majestic lions, elusive leopards, magnificent elephants, mighty buffalos and countless bird species. Immerse yourself in awe inspiring landscapes and picturesque views that this park has to offer.
After the thrilling game drive you can head back, to your accommodation for a breakfast and some deserved relaxation time. In the afternoon begin on a captivating boat along the Kazinga Channel, a waterway that connects Lake Edward and Lake George. Marvel at the hippos, crocodiles and an abundance of birdlife that grace the shores. While enjoying this experience you’ll also learn about the parks ecosystem and gain valuable insights into the importance of preserving this precious habitat.

Day 6; tour to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Following a breakfast begin on a drive towards Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which proudly harbors nearly half of the worlds remaining mountain gorillas. Along the way soak in landscapes. Catch glimpses of rural communities that add to the charm of your tour.

Once you arrive at the park settle into your chosen lodge or camp conveniently located near where your gorilla trekking adventure will begin. Take some time to relax and prepare yourself for what promises to be an awe inspiring encounter with these creatures.

Day 7; Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Rise in anticipation as you savor a breakfast before begining on an extraordinary gorilla trekking experience. Join forces, with your guide who will expertly lead you into the forest in search of a specific gorilla family.

Navigate through vegetation while keeping all senses alert for any signs or sounds that may indicate their presence. Once you find them prepare yourself for a hour spent observing these creatures in their natural habitat. Witness their behaviors captivating interactions and be moved by witnessing their strong familial bonds.

After the gorilla trek you can head back, to your lodge or camp to relax and reflect on the opportunity of being in the presence of mountain gorillas.

Day 8; Departure

Once you’ve had breakfast it’s time to bid farewell to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest as you drive back to Entebbe. Take in the landscapes and rural communities along the way. When you arrive in Entebbe our representative will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport for your departure carrying memories of your walking safari and gorilla trekking adventure in Uganda.
