Day 1; Arrival in Uganda and Transfer to Entebbe
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our knowledgeable guide will warmly welcome you. Accompany you to your accommodation. Take some time to relax and prepare yourself for the adventure that lies ahead.
Day 2; tour to Murchison Falls National Park
After enjoying a breakfast we begin our drive, towards Murchison Falls National Park situated in the northwestern region of Uganda. Keep an eye out for glimpses of elephants, giraffes and antelopes along our route as we enter the park.
When we arrive our first stop will be the awe inspiring Murchison Falls. It’s a sight where the mighty Nile River forcefully passes through a gorge creating an absolutely breathtaking spectacle.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park
we’ll start our day early with a game drive, across the savannah plains of Murchison Falls National Park. This is an opportunity to spot lions, buffalos, elephants and various bird species. In the afternoon we’ll enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile River. Along the riverbanks you can expect to see hippos, crocodiles and a wide range of birdlife gathering.
Day 4: Queen Elizabeth National Park
we’ll leave Murchison Falls behind. Head south towards Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park is known for its biodiversity and abundant wildlife. During our tour we’ll pass through the landscapes of the Albertine Rift Valley while enjoying picturesque views of tea plantations and traditional Ugandan villages. Day 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park
brings us another thrilling adventure as we set out on a captivating game drive through Queen Elizabeth National Parks ecosystems. From plains, to forests and crater lakes – this park has it all! As we explore these habitats under the rising sun keep your eyes peeled for wildlife encounters.
Queen Elizabeth National Park is famous, for its lions that climb trees. If we’re lucky we might be able to witness these creatures in action. Later in the afternoon we’ll begin on a boat trip along the Kazinga Channel, which’s home to a number of hippos and various other wildlife species found in Africa.
Day 6; Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Our next destination is Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary as we bid farewell to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This sanctuary is dedicated to protecting the endangered white rhinoceros. Accompanied by rangers we’ll trek through the sanctuary. Get an up close experience, with these magnificent creatures while also learning about the conservation efforts being made for their survival. This encounter gives us an opportunity to observe all of Ugandas Big Five animals since rhinoceros completes the list.
Day 7; End Of Safari
It’s time to return to Entebbe on our day of safari saying goodbye to Uganda. Before your departure take some time to explore Entebbe and visit the captivating Botanical Gardens that showcase a range of plants and animals. Reflect on the memories. Appreciate how privileged you were to witness Uganda’s Big Five before concluding your tour.
