5 Day Honeymoon Safari Uganda

Day 1; Arrival, in Entebbe and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Welcome to Uganda! When you arrive at Entebbe International Airport your safari guide will be there to greet you and help you transfer to a domestic flight heading towards Kihihi airstrip, which’s close to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Once you land it’s a scenic drive to the luxurious Buhoma Lodge where you’ll be staying for the next two nights. This lodge is nestled at the edge of the forest. Offers breathtaking views of the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, which happens to be a World Heritage site. Take some time to relax and enjoy the vistas of the forest.

Day 2; Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi

Today is a day! After enjoying a breakfast at the lodge make your way to the park headquarters where knowledgeable park rangers will provide you with information and instructions for your gorilla trekking adventure in the beautiful Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The duration of this trek can vary from a hours to a day depending on where the gorillas are located. Coming face to face with these creatures in their habitat is an experience that will stay with you forever. Once your trek is complete return back to Buhoma Lodge for an evening. To commemorate your trek indulge in a dinner, under a starlit sky.

Day 3; Heading to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Start your day with a breakfast. Then begin on a tour, to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This park is known for its array of ecosystems, including savannahs, shady and humid forests, shimmering lakes and rich wetlands. Upon arrival at the Ishasha Wilderness Camp, an eco camp located in the remote southern part of the park near the Ntungwe river you can settle in. In the afternoon go on a game drive to spot tree climbing lions, majestic elephants, mighty buffaloes and an impressive variety of bird species.

Day 4; Exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park

Rise for an unforgettable morning game drive when wildlife activity’s at its peak. Take advantage of this time to observe the parks wildlife up close. Afterward return to camp for some relaxation. Indulge in a lunch. In the afternoon treat yourself to a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel—an irresistible haven for numerous bird species and captivating animals like hippos and crocodiles. As dusk settles in, delight in a bush dinner that will perfectly conclude your day brimming with wildlife encounters.

Day 5; Departure

Savor a breakfast before being transferred to the airstrip for your flight back, to Entebbe. There connect with your international flight.
After creating memories and experiencing unforgettable moments it’s time to say goodbye to the breathtaking Ugandan wilderness. This marks the conclusion of a five day honeymoon safari.
