Day 1; Arrival, in Entebbe and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
When you arrive at Entebbe International Airport, a tour guide/driver will warmly welcome you. From there we’ll begin on a tour southwest towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is renowned for its endangered mountain gorillas. Along the way you’ll have plenty of opportunities to capture the beauty of the Ugandan countryside, local villages and breathtaking landscapes. Once we reach our destination you can settle into your accommodation relax and prepare for the adventures that await us tomorrow.
Day 2; Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early morning breakfast we’ll make our way to the park headquarters where the staff from Uganda Wildlife Authority will provide us with information and instructions. Our trek into the forest begins as we search for our assigned gorilla group. The duration of this trek can vary from a hours to a day depending on where the gorillas are located.
The opportunity to find these creatures in their habitat is truly extraordinary. With guidance from trackers you’ll have an hour to capture stunning photographs while respecting the gorillas space and preserving their natural behavior. Remember to maintain a distance avoid eye contact, with them and keep your voice low so as not to disturb their peaceful environment.
After experiencing the gorilla trekking adventure you have the option to take a guided stroll through a village. This allows you to connect with the community discover their traditions and gain insights into their way of life.
Day3; End Of Gorilla Photography Safari
On Day 3 start your morning with a breakfast before begining on your return tour, to Entebbe. Along the way there will be plenty of opportunities for capturing roadside photographs. Finally you’ll reach Entebbe International Airport on time for your departure flight concluding your unforgettable 3 day gorilla photo safari in Uganda.
Please keep in mind that obtaining permits for gorilla trekking is essential. These permits are highly sought after. Require advance booking and payment.
