3 Days Walking Safari in Rwanda
Day 1; Arrival, in Kigali
Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport in Rwanda our guide will warmly welcome you. Transfer you to your accommodation in Kigali. Take some time to relax and get accustomed to the surroundings. Depending on when you arrive there may be an opportunity for you to explore the city of Kigali and visit cultural and historical sites.
Day 2; Nyungwe Forest National Park
After enjoying a breakfast begin on a drive to Nyungwe Forest National Park located in the southwest region of Rwanda. During this tour you’ll witness landscapes. Pass through charming rural communities. Once you arrive, check in at your lodge or camp situated near the park.
In the afternoon set off on a guided nature walk through the forest. Immerse yourself in the greenery listen to the melodies of birds and playful monkeys and gain insights into the rich variety of plants and animals that inhabit this park. Your knowledgeable guide will provide information about the ecosystem and ongoing conservation efforts.
Day 3; Chimpanzee Trekking and Departure
Rise early for the chimpanzee trekking experience within Nyungwe Forest National Park. Join your guide as they lead you into the forest in search of habituated chimpanzee groups. Trek, through foliage while listening keenly for their calls and watching out for any signs indicating their presence. Once you come across them take some time to observe these captivating primates in their surroundings.
Following the excursion head back, to your accommodation for breakfast and check out. Say goodbye to Nyungwe Forest National Park as you drive back to Kigali. Our guide will assist you in getting to Kigali International Airport for your departure marking the conclusion of your walking adventure, in Rwanda.
