Day 1; Arrival, in Kigali. Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
When you arrive at Kigali International Airport our representative will be there to meet you. They will arrange a helicopter transfer for you to reach Volcanoes National Park, which is known for its endangered mountain gorillas. During this scenic flight you’ll be treated to views of Rwandas beautiful landscapes. Once you settle into your accommodation take the rest of the day at your leisure to relax and prepare for the trek.
Day 2; Gorilla Trekking. Departure
Start your day early with a briefing from the park rangers where they will educate you on gorilla trekking etiquette and discuss the parks conservation efforts. Following this session begin on an exciting gorilla trek led by rangers. During the trek they will guide you in locating a gorilla family where you’ll have a hour to observe their behavior capture photos and marvel at their size and gentle nature.
After completing the trek enjoy lunch at the lodge before catching your helicopter flight to Kigali International Airport. The timing of this return tour is perfectly coordinated with your travel plans.
