Day 1; Arrival, in Windhoek and Transfer to Etosha National Park
When you arrive at Windhoeks Hosea Kutako International Airport our team will warmly welcome you. We’ll assist you with your luggage. Give you an overview of the exciting safari adventure ahead. From the airport we’ll begin on a tour towards Etosha National Park, which lies in the part of Namibia. The drive will take around four to five hours allowing you to savor the changing landscapes and experience the charm of countryside.
Upon reaching Etosha National Park we’ll check into our lodge within the parks boundaries. Take some time to settle in and embrace the peacefulness of your surroundings. In the afternoon we’ll set off on our game drive with experienced guides who will share their knowledge and help us spot the incredible wildlife that calls this park home. Keep your cameras ready as we search for elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and various species of antelope. As the sun begins to set we’ll head back to the lodge for a deserved dinner while enjoying the enchanting sounds of nature under a starry sky.
Day 2; Full Day Game Drives, in Etosha National Park
Today our main focus will be exploring the wildlife and breathtaking landscapes of Etosha National Park. We’ll start the day with a breakfast. Head out on morning game drives taking advantage of the cooler hours when animals are most active. Our experienced guides will navigate us through the park making stops at waterholes where animals gather giving us plenty of opportunities to witness wildlife close and capture photographs.
For lunch we’ll have a picnic surrounded by the sights and sounds of the wilderness. In the afternoon we’ll continue our game drives exploring areas of the park to increase our chances of encountering species of wildlife. Our guides will entertain us with their knowledge and captivating stories, about the parks ecology and conservation efforts. As dusk approaches we’ll return to our lodge where we can unwind share tales from our days adventures and indulge in a dinner.
Day 3; Heading to Damaraland and Exploring Twyfelfontein
After breakfast it’s time to say goodbye to Etosha National Park as we begin on a drive, towards the enchanting region of Damaraland. Along this tour we’ll be treated to vistas characterized by mountains, vast plains and extraordinary geological formations. During our tour we will make a stop, at Twyfelfontein, which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its rock engravings and rock formations.
With the guidance of an expert we will explore this gem and appreciate the intricate carvings while gaining insights into the areas rich cultural and historical significance. Continuing our drive we will reach our lodge in Damaraland, where we can check in and take some time to relax amidst the surroundings. You have the option to unwind by the pool go for a nature walk or simply immerse yourself in the beauty of the desert landscape. In the evening we will come together for a dinner that allows us to relish cuisine while sharing our safari experiences and enjoying each others company.
Day 4; Tracking Desert Elephants and Exploring Nature in Damaraland
Today promises an exciting adventure as we set out to track desert elephants in the wilderness of Damaraland. Accompanied by guides who possess knowledge about these magnificent creatures behavior and habits we will either begin on foot or travel, in open 4×4 vehicles to observe these elephants adapted to desert life in their natural habitat.
As we follow their tracks our guides will enlighten us about these animals. Discuss ongoing conservation efforts dedicated to their protection.During our tour we may also come across animals that have adapted to survive in the desert environment, such, as giraffes, zebras oryx and different species of birds. After the tracking experience we will take a nature drive through Damaraland to explore its landscapes and unique plant and animal life. Our knowledgeable guides will share insights about plants and geological formations deepening our understanding of the ecosystems that thrive in this arid region. In the evening we’ll return to the lodge for a dinner. It will be a time to reflect on our day and marvel at the wonders that Damaraland offers.
Day 5; tour to Namib Naukluft National Park and Sossusvlei
Following breakfast we bid farewell to Damaraland. begin on a drive towards Namib Naukluft National Park – home, to the renowned red sand dunes of Sossusvlei. This scenic drive will showcase the landscapes that encompass the vastness and beauty of the Namib Desert. Upon reaching our lodge nestled in the heart of this park we’ll have some leisure time to unwind before setting off on an afternoon excursion to witness the awe inspiring sights of Sossusvlei and Deadvlei.The clay pans, in this area are truly remarkable surrounded by sand dunes that create an captivating landscape that sparks the imagination.
Our exciting tour will begin with a thrilling 4×4 drive through the desert terrain eventually leading us to Sossusvlei and Deadvlei. There we’ll have the opportunity to conquer some of the sand dunes in the world witnessing their vibrant colors transform under the shifting light. Its truly mesmerizing to observe the patterns and textures shaped by the wind especially when contrasted against the striking white clay pan amidst the dunes.
Take your time exploring this area on foot capturing photographs that will forever preserve these moments. Ascend the dunes for breathtaking views venture into Deadvleis acacia tree forest that has long dried up and revel in the sensation of soft sand beneath your feet.We’ll pause for a picnic lunch in a spot, near a camel thorn tree while surrounded by awe inspiring desert scenery. As dusk approaches we’ll return to our lodge where an exquisite dinner awaits us—allowing us to reflect upon our days adventures.
Day 6; Continuing our exploration of Namib Naukluft National Park and Sesriem Canyon
Today presents another opportunity for us to delve deeper into the wonders of Namib Naukluft National Park.Once we’ve finished our morning meal we’ll set off on an exciting adventure, through the park delving deeper into its scenery.
Our knowledgeable guides will enlighten us about the plant life that has adapted to thrive in this unforgiving environment. They’ll point out species. Explain how they manage to survive in such harsh conditions. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife sightings like gemsbok, springbok and an array of bird species.On we’ll visit the captivating Sesriem Canyon—a gorge formed by the Tsauchab River. As we stroll along its pathways be prepared to be awestruck by the towering walls that unveil millions of years of history. Listen closely as the wind whispers through the passages and learn about the importance this natural wonder holds. As evening approaches it’s time for a farewell dinner where we can indulge in cuisine and reflect upon our unforgettable safari experiences. Day 7; Returning to Windhoek and Saying Goodbye
After breakfast it’s time to bid adieu to Namib Naukluft National Parks mesmerizing landscapes as we commence our tour back, to Windhoek—the capital city of Namibia.
Experience the breathtaking beauty of the landscapes as we tour through the expanse of the Namib Desert cherishing the moments of encountering wildlife gazing at awe inspiring dunes and engaging ourselves in unique safari adventures. Once we reach Windhoek we will assist you with your transfer either, to Hosea Kutako International Airport or to your chosen accommodation in the city.
