Day 1; Arrival, in Windhoek and Transfer to Etosha National Park
Upon your arrival at Windhoeks Hosea Kutako International Airport, our friendly team will be there to greet you help with your luggage and give you a welcome to Namibia.
From the airport we’ll begin our tour towards Etosha National Park. The drive will take four hours allowing you to soak in the landscapes and vast open spaces that Namibia is renowned for.
Once we reach Etosha we’ll check into our lodge. Take some time to settle in and unwind. In the afternoon we’ll set out on our game drive within Etosha National Park. Accompanied by a guide we’ll venture into the park in search of its incredible wildlife. Elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras and various antelope species call this park their home. As the sun sets we’ll head back to our lodge. Indulge in a dinner under Namibias starry sky. We can share stories of the thrilling wildlife encounters from throughout the day.
Day 2; Full Day Game Drives, in Etosha National Park
Today will be dedicated entirely to exploring the marvels of Etosha National Park.We’ll start our day with a breakfast. Then set off on a morning game drive. The early hours are perfect, for spotting wildlife as animals tend to be more active during this time. Our knowledgeable guide will navigate through the landscapes of the park taking us to waterholes and lookout points that are known for attracting a wide variety of wildlife. Keep your camera at the ready as we search for Africas animals, such as elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos and buffaloes. We’ll also have the chance to spot giraffes, zebras, wildebeests and many different bird species. Around midday we’ll take a break for a picnic lunch within the park. It will be an opportunity to rest and refuel while enjoying the sights and sounds of the African bush. In the afternoon we’ll continue our game drives by exploring areas of the park. This way we can maximize our chances of encountering a range of wildlife. As the day draws to a close we’ll return to our lodge where you can unwind and share stories about our adventures over a dinner.
On Day 3; Damaraland. A region known for its beauty.
Our tour will take us through landscapes that showcase Namibias captivating beauty. Along the way we’ll make a stop, at Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site celebrated for its rock engravings. Here our knowledgeable guide will introduce us to the rock formations. Enlighten us about the cultural and historical significance of this remarkable place.
Following our visit to Twyfelfontein we’ll continue our drive to our lodge in Damaraland. Upon arrival we’ll have some leisure time to fully appreciate the surroundings. You can enjoy a swim in the pool relax on your veranda or simply immerse yourself in the awe inspiring views of the surrounding landscapes.
As evening approaches we’ll come together for a dinner where we can relish the flavors of Namibian cuisine.
Day 4; Tracking Desert Elephants and Exploring Damaralands Scenic Beauty
Today promises an experience as we set out on an adventure to track desert elephants in the wilderness of Damaraland. After enjoying a breakfast our experienced guides will lead us through the terrain while sharing their wealth of knowledge about this area and its unique wildlife.
Stay alert as we follow these creatures across the landscape and listen with fascination as our guides share captivating stories, about their behavior and incredible adaptations to survive in such harsh desert conditions.
Throughout our tour we’ll have the chance to appreciate the awe inspiring scenery that surrounds us from rock formations, to expansive plains. Following our elephant tracking adventure we’ll set off on a drive through Damaraland, where we’ll explore its geological wonders and encounter the diverse plant and animal life that thrives in this region. In the evening as we return to the lodge a delightful dinner will be served, providing an opportunity for reflection on the days thrilling escapades.
Day 5; Return To Windhoek
On Day 5 after enjoying a breakfast it will be time to bid farewell to Damaraland and commence our return tour to Windhoek. As we make our way through Namibias captivating landscapes take pleasure in absorbing their beauty along the scenic drive. Once we arrive in Windhoek our dedicated team will be there to assist you with your transfer either to the airport or your onward destination. We part ways with memories of a safari experience in Namibia.
