9 Day Safari Kenya

Day 1; Nairobi. Masai Mara

On the day your Kenya Safaris driver/guide will pick you up in a private 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeep at 7;30 am, from your chosen location in Nairobi. We’ll leave Nairobi. Make our way towards the Masai Mara. During the tour our guide will share facts about the park and the Maasai people. Keep an eye out for Maasai herders adorned in their shuka wraps. Once we arrive at the park we’ll have lunch and check in at our lodge or tented camp. In the afternoon we’ll begin on a thrilling game drive to explore the parks wildlife, including creatures like lions, leopards, rhinos, buffalos and elephants. As evening falls we’ll enjoy a dinner and unwind at our accommodation.

Day 2; Full Day Adventure in Masai Mara

Get ready for a day of excitement as we delve into Masai Maras wonders with game drives! You have freedom to tailor your experience based on your preferences. Whether you want to relax at your accommodation or go on game drives throughout the day is entirely up to you. Masai Mara is renowned for its population of cats and its epic Great Migration spectacle. Don’t miss visiting the Mara River where you can witness awe inspiring crossings by wildebeests, zebras and gazelles while keeping an eye out for crocodiles and predators lurking nearby. For an perspective of this incredible landscape consider opting for an optional hot air balloon safari, over the park. You have the option to visit a village and learn about their lifestyle and traditions. After that you can head back, to your accommodation for dinner. Spend the night there.

Day 3; Lake Nakuru National Park

You can start with an early morning game drive in Masai Mara before departing for Lake Nakuru National Park. Along the way there will be stops. You can enjoy lunch during the tour. When you arrive at Lake Nakuru in the afternoon take some time to explore the park known for its birdlife and rhino population. You’ll have the chance to spot bird species like flamingos well as other wildlife such as impalas, giraffes and waterbucks. Finally settle in at your Lake Nakuru lodge or tented camp for the evening.

Day 4; Lake Naivasha National Park

Visit Lake Naivasha, another park located in the Rift Valley region that’s famous for its wildlife and birdlife. Enjoy a water safari across the lake where you can observe hippos and different bird species. Then visit Crescent Island, a sanctuary where a guided walking tour will allow you to see zebras, gazelles and plenty of birds close. Continue your adventure by heading to Hells Gate National Park known for its features and breathtaking landscapes. Explore this park on a bicycle safari while passing by zebras, giraffes and buffalos along the way. Finally return to your Lake Naivasha accommodation, for a nights rest.

Day 5; Lake Naivasha. Amboseli

Start your tour, with a drive to Amboseli National Park taking breaks along the way to soak in the views of the Great Rift Valley. As you approach Amboseli marvel at the Mt. Kilimanjaro in the distance. Take a short game drive. If luck is on your side catch a glimpse of Kilimanjaros snow covered peak.. Rejuvenate at your accommodation in Amboseli whether its a lodge or a comfortable tented camp.

Day 6; Amboseli National Park Safari

Dedicate this day to thrilling game drives within Amboseli National Park. This park is renowned for its abundant herds of elephants roaming well as other captivating wildlife such as lions, leopards, buffaloes and rhinos. Enjoy the landscapes with Kilimanjaro providing an awe inspiring backdrop throughout your adventure. As evening approaches return to your lodge or camp for some deserved relaxation.

Day 7; tour from Amboseli to Tsavo West

After an exciting morning game drive in Amboseli venture towards Tsavo West National Park. Explore this sanctuary filled with landforms remnants of volcanic activity and an array of wildlife species. Make sure to visit the enchanting Mzima Springs—an oasis brimming with fish, birdsong echoes hippos lazing about in the water and crocodiles sunning themselves along the shores. Indulge in a walk alongside these tranquil springs before settling down for dinner and spending the night at your chosen accommodation, within Tsavo West.

Day 8; Exploring Tsavo West. Tsavo East National Park

Start your day with an exciting morning game drive, in Tsavo West and then make your way to Tsavo East National Park, which happens to be the park in Kenya. Get ready to witness the terrain adorned with unique volcanic formations and watering holes like Mudanda Rock and Aruba Dam. Keep your eyes peeled for the Tsavo lions and other fascinating wildlife. As the day comes to an end settle down at your accommodation in Tsavo East for a dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 9; tour from Tsavo East to Mombasa/Diani Beach

Before bidding farewell to Tsavo East begin on one game drive. Then it’s time to head towards the coast. Hop aboard the Madaraka Express, a high speed train at Voi Station for a tour towards Mombasa or Diani Beach. As you travel take in the views of Tsavo Easts plains teeming with wildlife from the train windows. Finally arriving at Mombasas train station marks the conclusion of your safari adventure with Africa Kenya Safaris. Take a moment to reflect upon your encounters with wildlife as you make your way, towards the beaches of Diani.
