Day 1; Nairobi. Amboseli
Your adventure begins at 7;30 am when your driver/guide, from Africa Kenya Safaris will pick you up in a 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeep from your chosen location in Nairobi. As you leave the city behind you’ll drive along the Nairobi Mombasa Highway passing through fields where you might even catch a glimpse of Masai tribespeople tending to their cattle. After a tour you’ll arrive at Amboseli National Park in time for a delicious lunch at your chosen accommodation. Prepare to be awestruck by the view of Mt. Kilimanjaro, Africas peak, which serves as an incredible backdrop to the park. Keep an eye out for herds of elephants and other wildlife that roam freely within the parks boundaries.. If luck is on your side and weather permits you might even witness the snow capped peak of Kilimanjaro itself. As evening falls indulge in a dinner and unwind in the comfort of your lodge or tented camp.
Day 2; Amboseli National Park
Today is about engaging yourself in the wonders of Amboseli National Park during exciting game drives. The choice is yours. begin on game drives throughout the day. Take some time to relax and rejuvenate amidst nature at your accommodation. Kickstart your morning, with an exciting breakfast game drive as you observe the wildlife awakening to greet a new day on their terms. Afterward head back for a breakfast before venturing out again on a mid morning safari drive that takes you deeper into Amboselis captivating landscapes. While Amboseli is renowned for its elephant population there’s much more to discover – from diverse wildlife species to vibrant birdlife thriving around the parks enchanting marshes.
Day 3; Amboseli National Park Safari
Day 3; After enjoying a game drive, in Amboseli and admiring the sight of Mount Kilimanjaro make your way to Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley. This picturesque park offers opportunities for spotting game and a variety of bird species including ostriches, pelicans, herons and eagles. Immerse yourself in a sailing safari across the lake, where you can peacefully glide past hippos in their habitat. Don’t miss the chance to visit Crescent Island Sanctuary for a guided walking safari, where you’ll encounter buffalo, antelope and an array of shorebirds. Spend a night at your Lake Naivasha accommodation.
Day 4; Lake Nakuru National Park
Start your day with a walking or bicycle safari through Hells Gate Park. Explore its mesmerizing canyons and meadows while observing antelope, elegant giraffes, striped zebras, powerful buffalos and fascinating wildlife. Continue your tour to Lake Nakuru National Park renowned for its rhinos, leopards and vibrant pink flamingos. Marvel at the parks enchanting waterfalls lush acacia forests and towering cliffs. Along the shoreline of the lake itself spot pelicans gliding gracefully over the water while cormorants dive beneath its surface. Keep your eyes peeled for kingfishers as ostriches roaming nearby. Encounter rare Rothschilds giraffes alongside white rhinos. Unforgettable experiences await you here! Conclude this day with a dinner, at your Lake Nakuru accommodation.
Day 5; Lake Nakuru National Park & Masai Mara Safari Tanzania
Start your day by admiring the beautiful morning light reflecting on the lake and the acacia woods while observing the birdlife. Afterward we will make our way, to the Masai Mara Reserve arriving in the afternoon. Get ready for a game drive in this park for its rolling hills, golden savannahs and majestic acacia trees. The park is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts as it is home to over 95 species. As the sun sets we’ll head to our accommodation in Mara where we’ll spend the three nights.
Day 6; Masai Mara Safari Kenya
Prepare yourself for a day! We’ll start with an early morning game drive at Masai Mara providing opportunities to spot prides of lions, elusive leopards, speedy cheetahs and even hyenas roaming around freely in their habitat. During lunchtime near the Mara River you can witness crocodiles and hippos going about their routines. Don’t miss out on witnessing one of natures wonders. The Great Migration! Watch wildebeests and zebras bravely crossing the river from Serengeti in search of pastures. As evening approaches return to your accommodation for a deserved relaxation.
Day 7; Another Memorable Day, at Masai Mara
Make the most of your time at Masai Mara with another day of exploration. Discuss your preferences with our guide who will be happy to revisit areas or take you on new adventures within this vast park.
You have the option to engage in activities during your trip, such, as visiting a village and engaging yourself in their lifestyle and craftsmanship. Another unique experience is taking an early morning hot air balloon safari to witness the Great Migration from a perspective. After enjoying these activities you can return to your accommodation for an evening.
Day 8; End Of Safari in Kenya
On Day 8 start your day with a drive through the park before having breakfast at your lodge or camp. Take some time to reflect on the experiences you’ve had during your safari. Later in the afternoon around 4;30 pm depart for Nairobi where you will arrive in the afternoon. Your driver/guide will drop you off at your desired location marking the end of your adventure with Africa Kenya Safaris.
