Day 1; Nairobi. Amboseli
begin, on an exciting week adventure. Your tour begins at 7;30 am when your driver/guide from Africa Kenya Safaris picks you up in a 4×4 Land Cruiser Jeep from your desired location. As we travel along the Nairobi/Mombasa Highway take in the views of farms and keep an eye out for Masai herders. Don’t forget to watch for the awe inspiring Mt. Kilimanjaro, which will lead us towards Amboseli Park.
Upon arrival and settling into your accommodation indulge in a lunch before setting off on your game drive. Prepare to spot elephants, powerful buffaloes majestic big cats, playful monkeys, lively baboons and a diverse array of birdlife. As evening approaches savor the sight of Mt. Kilimanjaro as we make our way back to your lodge or tented camp for a delightful dinner and some well deserved relaxation.
Day 2; Full Day at Amboseli
Immerse yourself in a day filled with game drives within Amboseli National Park. Begin with a captivating breakfast game drive that allows you to witness the park bathed in the enchanting morning light. Enjoy a breakfast before continuing your exploration of the parks wonders, including a visit to Observation Hill for vistas that will leave you spellbound. Marvel at the parks marshes bustling with birdlife like geese. After lunch begin, on game drives and if you feel like taking some downtime to unwind and recharge amidst natures beauty go ahead and indulge yourself.
After a day filled with adventures head back, to your accommodation in Amboseli for dinner. Some time to reflect.
Day 3; Amboseli. Lake Naivasha
Start the day with a morning game drive in Amboseli before making your way towards Lake Naivasha. Pass through Nairobi and the Great Rift Valley and by lunchtime you’ll arrive at Lake Naivasha. Take in the peacefulness of a boating safari as you sail past hippos and observe antelope and giraffes on the shoreline. On visit Crescent Island Sanctuary for a guided walking safari where you’ll encounter buffalo, zebra and an array of birdlife. Return to your accommodation at Lake Naivasha for dinner and relaxation.
Day 4; Lake Naivasha. Lake Nakuru
You have the option to visit either Lake Nakuru or Lake Bogoria National Reserve both known for their flamingoes. Explore Hells Gate National Park where you can begin on a bicycle safari through canyons while being surrounded by towering cliffs and wildlife such as buffalo, giraffes, zebras and antelope. Continue your tour to Lake Nakuru National Park where you’ll have the chance to spot monkeys, warthogs, giraffes, rhinos, pelicans and more flamingoes. Take in the parks waterfalls, acacia forests and stunning lake views as you enjoy a dinner at your accommodation, in Lake Nakuru.
Day 5; Lake Nakuru. Masai Mara
Start off with a morning birding expedition followed by a game viewing safari in Lake Nakuru.Next make your way, to the Masai Mara. Stop for a lunch on the tour. Take in the beautiful scenery as you enter Masai territory. Upon arrival at the Masai Mara you’ll have plenty of time for an afternoon game drive. Explore the landscape of the Mara with its rolling hills, golden savannahs and picturesque acacia trees. Get ready to witness an array of wildlife including over 95 mammal species. Afterward take a deserved rest. Enjoy a delightful dinner at your accommodation in Mara.
Day 6; A Full Day to Discover the Marvels of Masai Mara
Immerse yourself completely in the wonders of Masai Mara with a full day dedicated to exploration. Discuss your preferences with your guide who will customize your game drives based on areas that interest you most. Prepare to be amazed by witnessing the Great Migration at the Mara River, where thousands of wildebeests, zebras and other grazers cross in search of water and grasslands. Marvel at the interactions between these migrating animals and their predators like crocodiles and big cats eagerly awaiting their arrival. If you’re up for it consider adding a predawn hot air balloon safari for an unforgettable aerial view of this magnificent park. Another optional activity is visiting a village where you can learn about their culture and unique way of life. After a day return to your accommodation, in Mara for a scrumptious dinner followed by some well deserved relaxation.
Day 7; Masai Mara. Nairobi
Begin your day with an early morning game drive, before breakfast making the most of your opportunity to spot wildlife in the Mara. After enjoying a breakfast at your accommodation begin on a drive back to Nairobi taking in the breathtaking landscapes along the way. You will arrive in Nairobi around 4;30 pm, where you can say goodbye to your driver/guide as they drop you off at your hotel, residence, airport or any preferred location.
