Day 1; Arrival, in Nairobi

Your incredible adventure in Kenya begins soon as you land at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, which serves as the entry point to this vibrant country. Upon arrival your friendly guide will greet you. Escort you to your hotel in Nairobi, the capital city. Take some time to relax and get accustomed to your surroundings as you prepare yourself for the safari experience that awaits you.

Day 2; Nairobi Cultural Safari

Your exploration of Kenya kicks off with a tour of Nairobis highlights. Start your day by visiting the Nairobi National Museum, where fascinating archaeological discoveries and paleontological findings showcase the countrys history and diverse cultures. Get up close and personal with endangered Rothschild giraffes at the Giraffe Centre before heading to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, a sanctuary dedicated to protecting orphaned elephants and rhinos. Wrap up your day by visiting the Kazuri Womens Cooperative, where local women craft handmade pottery and beads that reflect both their artistic skills and their communitys empowerment.

Day 3; Amboseli National Park

begin on a captivating tour, towards Amboseli National Park situated at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro – Africas peak.
This park is well known for its groups of roaming elephants providing incredible opportunities to witness wildlife up close. Once you’ve settled into your lodge join an evening safari. Be amazed, by the sight of elephants, lions and cheetahs in their natural environment.

Day 4; Amboseli Safari

Begin your day with a sunrise drive. Later in the afternoon pay a visit to a village where you can fully immerse yourself in their vibrant culture. Learn about their way of life as herders take part in dances and gain a deeper appreciation for their harmonious relationship with the surrounding wildlife.

Day 5; Aberdare National Park

Travel northwards towards Aberdare National Park renowned for its game lodges. Treetops and The Ark. These lodges offer wildlife viewing decks that provide a perspective as animals come to drink from watering holes and salt licks throughout the day and night.

Day 6; Transfer to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Continue your tour to Ol Pejeta Conservancy, a refuge for species. It is home to the Big Five. Serves as East Africas largest sanctuary for black rhinos. Notably it is also where the two surviving northern white rhinos, on Earth reside. Make sure to visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary during your time, in Kenya. It’s the place where you can observe these primates up close.

Day 7; Lake Nakuru National Park

On day 7 make your way to Lake Nakuru National Park, which is renowned worldwide as a haven for bird enthusiasts. The park is famous for its flamingos that grace the shores. Additionally it serves as a protected area for a population of black rhinos.

Day 8 to 10; Masai Mara National Reserve

Continuing your adventure on day 8 head to Maasai Mara National Reserve, known globally for its wildlife and the annual wildebeest migration. Soon as you arrive begin on an exciting evening game drive to catch sight of the wildlife inhabiting the park. For days 9 and 10 immerse yourself in the expanses of Maasai Mara. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives that offer opportunities to spot Africas Big Five animals. Take some time to visit a village where you’ll be warmly greeted with traditional songs and dances while learning about their customs and witnessing ancient rites of passage. If you’re up for it ( extra) consider taking a hot air balloon ride at dawn, over the Mara plains teeming with wildlife.

Day 11; tour, to Lake Naivasha

Start your day by heading towards the Lake Naivasha, known for being the highest and purest among the Great Rift Valley lakes. Experience the thrill of a boat ride as you spot hippos and discover an array of bird species. Make sure to visit Elsamere, which was once the home of Joy Adamson, the author of “Born Free”. Now transformed into a conservation center Elsamere is dedicated to promoting wildlife and nature.

Day 12; Return to Nairobi

Enjoy a breakfast before begining on your return tour, to Nairobi. If time permits according to your flight schedule take a moment to explore the Maasai Market for any last minute souvenir shopping. Finally you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure concluding your 12 day wildlife adventure that also encompassed cultural experiences and encounters with the magnificent Big Five animals.
