The Kilimanjaro marathon is on again this year, on 1st March. The marathon which is IAAF approved will be run in and around Moshi and has exciting offers for sporting enthusiasts that are interested in taking part. The  Kilimanjaro Marathon, is a fun event that brings together dedicated hikers, mountain climbers and racers in an all in one Tanzania safari event. It is a perfect way to enjoy your safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, and Lake Manyara.

The full marathon is 42.2 kilometers, half marathon is 21.1km, and there is the fun run which is 5km. will be supplements by a half marathon and a 5 KM fun run in which groups, families and those not fit enough for the longer distances can compete and there is the added bonus of climbing mount Kilimanjaro.
